Advanced Wood Badge Training Course 2026
As part of its commitment to developing scout leaders and strengthening training capacities, the Rabat–Salé–Kénitra Region of the Moroccan Organization of Scouts and Guides organized the Advanced Wood Badge Training Course 2026 at Maamora, under the theme “Conscious Leadership... and Lasting Impact.”
The course was delivered through three training stages between May and August 2026, providing participants with a progressive training journey aimed at strengthening their knowledge and developing their leadership and training capacities.
The first stage was held from May 3 to 8, 2026, marking the beginning of this training journey. The second stage took place from July 17 to 19, 2026, before the course concluded with the third stage, held from August 25 to 27, 2026, at Maamora.
Throughout the three stages, participants had the opportunity to develop their leadership and training skills, exchange experiences and expertise, and strengthen the competencies required to fulfill their educational and leadership responsibilities within the scouting movement.
The multi-stage format also ensured continuity throughout the training process, allowing participants to progressively build on the knowledge and skills acquired at each stage while benefiting from practical learning, interaction, and the exchange of experiences among scout leaders.
Under the theme “Conscious Leadership... and Lasting Impact,” the course highlighted a vision of scouting leadership that extends beyond managing programs and activities. It emphasized the role of leaders in guiding and inspiring young people and in creating a meaningful and lasting educational impact within the scouting environment.
Through initiatives such as this advanced training course, the Rabat–Salé–Kénitra Region continues to contribute to the development and qualification of scouting leaders and to the strengthening of training as a fundamental pillar for improving the quality of scouting work and ensuring the continuity of its educational mission.
