Since 1947 — A Lasting Legacy in Moroccan Scouting
The Moroccan Organization of Scouts and Guides was founded on April 17, 1947, originally under the name Moroccan Moroccan Islamic Scout Organization, marking the beginning of a national educational and Scouting journey that has continued across generations and contributed to the development of Scouting in Morocco.
In 1958, the organization was among the Scout associations that formed the National Federation of Moroccan Scouting (Fédération Nationale du Scoutisme Marocain). Today, it remains one of the Federation's three historical member organizations, alongside Scoutisme Hassania Marocain and the Organisation du Scout Marocain.
As the organization evolved, it adopted its current name, the Moroccan Organization of Scouts and Guides. Historical sources indicate that the current name has been used since 2002.
For more than eight decades, the organization has continued its contribution to Moroccan Scouting, preserving its educational mission and Scout values while helping educate and train generations of Scouts, Guides and leaders.
