Young Leaders’ Participation in the 6th Arab Scout Youth Forum 2025
The Moroccan Organization of Scouts and Guides participated in the 6th Arab Scout Youth Forum, held from 9 to 14 November 2025 at the Yas Conference Centre on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, under the theme “Ready for Digital Life… with Arab Scouting Leadership.”
The Organization was represented by a delegation of young Scout leaders: Leader Chaimae Abtmi, former member of the Arab Scout Youth Advisors Committee; Leader Rim Rezki, current Vice-Chair of the Youth Advisors Committee; and Leader Ayoub Kadi, Head of the Delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Their participation reflected the Organization’s commitment to empowering young leaders and ensuring their active involvement in shaping the present and future of the Scout Movement at both national and Arab regional levels.
The Forum brought together young representatives from Arab Scout associations in a dynamic environment for dialogue, learning and exchange of experiences. Its programme addressed key areas including youth leadership, governance, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, safeguarding, sustainability and the role of young people in Scout decision-making.
The participation of the Moroccan delegation also provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices with young Scout leaders from across the Arab region, strengthen cooperation and build lasting connections within the Arab Scout Movement.
Through this participation, the Moroccan Organization of Scouts and Guides reaffirmed its belief that young people are not only beneficiaries of Scouting programmes, but essential partners in leadership, decision-making and the development of the Scout Movement.
